And yes, GMing takes considerable effort.
When I do it, I liked the numbers because then I would forget who was who. I didn't want to know who was who when I was determining random outcomes. It shouldn't make a difference but I'd rather not know.

Note: rah is currently on a sandbag.

Rah is the first to fall victim to sandbag alley, hitting a threesome of sandbags in a row, reducing him down to speed 2. Kassi now knows where these sandbags are, but he'll have to burn a WC or to in order to avoid them. Gamecube is also about to enter the sandbag alley, and both Sparrowhawk and Spaced Cowboy are trailing him. Now, Ljube is beginning to bridge the gap between himself and Spaced Cowboy as he prepares to enter the loop turn.

Note: Car 6 is sitting on a sandbag.

With Gamecube withdrawing from the race (probably due to his lack of WCs, which would make it difficult to traverse the sandbags) and pulling off to the side of the track, only 5 cars remain in the race. Despite hitting some sand on the previous turn, Rah enjoys a three space lead over Kassi still, due to Kassi's run-in with a couple of sandbags of his own. Sparrowhawk still leads Spaced as they themselves approach the sandbag run; and just below Sparrow, Ljube goes through the underpass as he approaches the loop turn, with 3 WCs still in his possession and a fast speed to boot.

I think there should be a yellow flag and a restart because of the precarious position that Gamecube has parked his car It looks to be balanced at the edge of the bridge .

Rah is still in the lead, but hit 2 more sandbags this turn. Kassi, who moved into the far lane to avoid the sand, hit 1 more sandbag himself. Kassi is only one spot behind Rah now, but they avoided a collision due to a couple of well-placed sandbags. Meanwhile, Sparrow has also entered the sand run, and hit 2 bags himself. Spaced is only two spots behind him, and Ljube is about to cross the bridge across to the sandbag alley.

Although the sandbags seem to be everywhere, there is a clear path through them, although you can't be going too fast or it will cost you a bundle of WCs to follow the path.
