2. People here in Poly have consistently underrated Kerry and overrated Bush, at least when compared to the general public- good example is the last debate-same beginning- "Oh, Bush WON, Kerry did poorly"- after a few days, more people said Kerry won than Bush. I think it will be the same today.

I've been right on the 3 prior debates and I think Bush won tonight... We'll know if ~3 days who won tonight wrt the public...

Kerry didn't...

Why? 'cause he told you what you wanted to hear???
His answer is good because he didn't tell you, he became president because god told him so???

And voting for a third party candidate seems so much like a waste of a vote. But I suppose I'll still stick with third party. It's more of a protest vote. A dissident vote.

Put an end to popups!

A Servey of uncomitted voters gave last nights debate to Kerry

Kerry 39%
Bush 25%
Undecided 36%

Plus even fox news's website isn't saying Bush won, with their leanings, i think they must perceive that he lost, otherwise they would be shouting it from the rooftops. if it had been a draw they would be saying he'd won to try and push perceptions in the right way

Here we go, finally the www.factcheck.org (endorsed by Cheney!) report on the BS in the debate:
http://www.factcheck.org/article281m.html

Some pretty outrageous lies there. But the one that's really sticking and getting out in the public eye is Bush's statement denying his previous statement about Bin Ladin not being much of a threat and not something that he thinks about much. That one's gunna sting.

And in the ligth of the legs that the Bin Labin lie is getting in the mainstream news, it looks like I've gotta switch my decision to call this one for Bush and call it as yet another Kerry victory since that one sentance is going to result in the debate being a definate net loss for Bush.

Eh, both of these guys suck so bad that nothing is going to matter. People are going to vote straight down bipartisan lines. Even the so called 'centrists' will vote for the party that they tend towards generally.

I think that Bush won this debate regardless of the polls based on his sounding intelligent and god fearing. In order for Kerry to really win he has to paint Bush as a Racist Rich Religous Zealot. He did not do that last night.
