It slightly amazes me how common things like voter suppression, maliscious misinformation, false registrations etc seem to be, by both sides to be fair, though the Republicans attempting to limit the african-american vote is particularly nasty as it is targetted at a specific racial minority. Not a shining beacon to the world really, and it won't get any better once the lawyers start challenging people's votes.
What is so difficult about a system as is common in most European systems where you get automatically registered when you move into a house/flat etc.?

When are there enough examples to make it a nationwide phenomenon? I want to know for when someone says "that's just an isolated example." Someone ought to make a list of all these occurrances, because I'm hearing about them too frequently to have just been "isolated."
