	Need Advice on ToT Graphical Corruption! Support Apolyton, buy Civilization: The Boardgame

Hi folks!

I need some direction on how to fix some very strange problems in ToT...

I have made new icons and people grpahics for my upcoming Bitterfrost ToT scenario;
But in-game, there are large portions of the icons missing, especially pure black or white colours.

It also affects the large graphics in the civlopedia.
It is an annoyance after spending so much time on the graphics and art.

I can imagine it has something to do with the bmp properties of the colours I am using?

Is is a conversion problem in ToT?

Any pointers would be much appreciated!

I thought you were speaking about all the MPGE oldtimers who got "corrupted" by the graphical advantages ToT has over MPGE!

Solved the problem - From sheer bloody-minded desperation on my part!

It seems you must always have a border around any icon or graphic destined for the civlopedia..

All is good now - Sorted!

And thank you for doing it even if you were busy! I'm getting more and more inedbted to you...

The original character used exclusively a 2-handed sword, but your unit with the longsword looks so good that I'm sure the player won't mind !

That may have to do with the fact that for most ToT graphics, the color of the pixel in the top-left corner of a graphic is made transparent for that graphic (along with the usual magenta).

I'm not entirely sure if that's your problem, though. I don't have ToT on this PC.

I think you may be totally correct, as that situation you described is consistent with my graphic problem.

As soon as I used the default borders from the vanilla icon file, everything was fine!
