A bit of info about the scenario:

Now the Human civs each have a quest that gives a powerful wonder and perhaps a cool character too!

The Crusaders look for the armour that belonged to their hero 'The Crusader'...
The Bursars help the Imperion's champion to thwart some undead pirates...
The Coven are after a magic device that will change the balance of power...

Other items are available if certain actions are carried out.
And the Imperion will issue rewards for services rendered!

There are some units in need of help also!
They might join you in return...And bring benefits with them...

And this time, heroes can be captured and joined to your civ.
Or turned into an undead monster, depending on your faction!

A ToT Dictator you say Curt? Wow, won't that be something. Anyways, I've got a question about an idea that was proposed once a while back. It came out of the usual banter that borders on spamming that fills up these threads all the time, but this idea if I remember correctly actually had some merrit.

It was an idea for the world of Bitterfrost meeting the world of Dictator and or Vendetta after some sort of rip or tear in the space and time continuum or something to that effect. The point is, either from the inhabitants of Bitterfrost invading the world of Vendetta/Dictator or vice versa, you'd have wizzards and mage's battling Red Dreadnaughts and Loyalty Troops. Dragon's and Voodoo fighters dueling in high altitude combat.

Being the imaginative writer that you are Curt, I'm sure an explanation for the two worlds coliding could easily be found.

Just a thought.

UPDATE:

Events are 99% done! (and no bugs this time!)
I'm now testing out the scenario and it plays pretty good.
Making tweaks and changes to all the mini-mistakes that crop up -
Like a unit having not enough movement points.

What I need to do is to get the balance going now.
I also have to set the treaties so the Undead and Ancients are fighting from the start.

Next task:
Made edits to all the civ text in the Game and Labels files!

A playtest will probably be out for xmas!

I wish I could say the ToT AI is fun, but it ain't!

After their univited landing ashore and subsequent razing of one of my cities
with an unpronouncable name, I decided to punish the evil Urzit good and proper!

I had done some of the events quests, picking up some heroes.
This will be easy! I thought...

Yeah, right!
Now the blue-faced fiends are flinging everything
(including the kitchen sink)
at my little task force, led by Irene the Maiden!

Run away! Run away!



PS
And to top it all off, the Ancients have just arrived and flattened one of my frontier cities,
doing so without getting even a dent in their incredibly eeeee-vil armour! Damn them....!

I really miss my panzers now!

For players who want a tough challenge, I may have a nice new year gift for ya!

Ok Curt, I guess this screenshot might indicate that you could possibly be right about some alleged advantages that Tot should have above MPGE

Too bad I won't have any days off around Xmas to playtest it as well as it should be! But if you want, I'm sure I could find a few hours... (I'll do it for Irene...)

One thing I notice too is that the Undead and Ancients seldom go to war with each other.

Even though they have no formal alliance set up!

This leads me to think the human kingdoms are facing the 'Axes of Evil!'

Sign me up for playtesting too Curt!! I can't wait to give this game a try. I wonder if this year will be the year where ToT becomes more popular with designers and players than MGE? Only time will tell. I say this because of Red Front, Atomic Eagle II, Vendetta II, and now Bitterfront II are all going to be exclusively ToT, for now at least.

Say Curt, whatever happened to that game Kingdom of Steel you had in the works? I really liked the premise and hope we can see it one day.

Semi-bad news on that front dude, I am really unable to recreate
the kind of colours that are possible in the ToT versions...
I have tried all kinds of palette conversions, but to no avail -
The MGE colours just look unacceptable.

I did put together a small compo of stuff I hope is useful to you,
I could not convert the colours on the tanks you had provided...

Again, forgive me not being able to get this one done
the way you had wanted; but the MGE pallete is too
limited for what I wanted to do.

Hope you are not too annoyed with this situation...
