Chapter 1 – Nuc’s wit
Paddy the Scot and Skanky Burns were the first to arrive in the hotel bar, the agreed meeting place. It was still early, quarter to seven PM and the others were not expected to come before eight, so Skanky and Paddy sat at the bar to have a couple of drinks before the real party starts.
“Would you like to order something to drink gentlemen”, the bartender asked.
“Double whiskey straight”, Paddy replied.
“Same here”, Skanky added.
A few minutes later, while they were having their second double whiskey, this time with ice, Jon Miller came in. Immediately he recognised the two illustrious Apolyton members and joined them at the bar.
“Howdy folks”, Jon Miller greeted the two Aussies.
“Howdy mate”, Paddy replied. “And who might you be? I can’t remember you on any of the pictures posted in the thread.”
“Yeah, that’s cause I never posted one. It’s Jon, Jon Miller, the Canadian.”
“Oh, it’s you. Well, don’t just stand there! Join us! What are you drinking?”
Jon Miller had slightly more exotic taste.
“I’ll have one Banana Bomber.”
Just when they started to talk about life and stuff a large group of Americans came in. Rah, Jrabbit, Theben and reismark shook hands with Jon, Paddy and Skanky. They were all very excited to finally meet each other. Rah suggested they moved to their table and so they did.
Soon after everybody else came, all 24 of them. It was a lively crowd. They talked and joked with each other, drank and had fun until very late in the night. Lord Nuclear was in a particularly good mood, joking with everybody else, teasing some of them too much occasionally.
Finally, it was time to go to sleep. Most of them were staying in two bedded rooms except Snowflake, Jon Miller and Hercules who were staying in single bedded rooms and the Aussies who shared a three bedded suite. Rah and Jrabbit who shared the room went first, followed by joncha and Ben Kenobi who were also staying in a two bedded room, then DrSpike and Sandman who also shared a room and so on until only Sheep, Paddy, and Skanky were left. Apparently the Aussies couldn’t accommodate to the time zone difference and couldn’t go to sleep just yet. Or they haven’t had enough drink.

Ben Kenobi who only had a single glass of wine woke up very early in the morning and decided to go for a walk on the beach after his morning prayer. Walking along and enjoying the first light he spotted a man lying on the ground at the far end of the beach. Being a Good Samaritan, he thought it was someone who had a few drinks too many and hurried to help him get to the hotel. But when he got near the man he saw the man was really Lord Nuclear and that he was dead. Someone has sliced off his tongue using a rusty spam can, then slashed his throat and finally stuffed Lord Nuc’s tongue into the can.
