The wicked Ottomen have razed Bucharest, after the French apparently captured it, but wouldn't defent the city properly. Darn them, now the hammer needs another big swing. By the current reaction, I think they are scared. Good.

Russia has brought this upon herself, by attacking a neighbour. Too bad.

We welcome the French troops in Austrian territory. However, since you are guests, you should remember acting like some. Meaning, we require that shortest paths between cities are always left open, regardless of the situation of the French army. This is especially vital in places with few roads. Leave a way through between Belgrade, Orsovo, Sofia, and Skopje.

Oh, yeah, the glorious Austrian forces have kicked the Ottomen out of Skopje.
(By the skin of our teeth, but hey - we did it. )

You produced a really bad traffic jam near Orsovo - no free road to Sofia. Most of the units are healthy, so it was not the Ottomen who pushed you to do it.

I built some roads there, and more will follow, mostly to allow quick military movement. What I ask for is a corridor left for Austrian units, especially near the new, ex-Ottoman cities. You need not clear all roads.

We are attacking from the north. Actually, only bombarding, for lack of potent attackers. If you could cross the Mountains, and occupy one of the Hills near the city, a combined attack should do the trick.

So far, we have counted at least four Janissaries inside, which is why this is going so slow.

Marechal Davout's Cavalry Corp were smashed apart during a previous battle, while Marechal Massena's Cavalry Corp was only recently crushed while repeatidly attacking Varna to the south.

I must also report that the war against England has not been going very well, yet I hope to do some damage to their Spanish possessions in the coming 6 months.

The following shows the units and where they will be by May 1806 for the seige of Chisinau...

They should be able to heal, as long as we have a ROP in place. Of course, this is much slower, than in a city with Barracks.

We note, that the brave French soldiers made it possible for us to capture Varna this month. It is not certain, whether we will be able to hold it, though.

Thanks to your help, we were able to move another force farther south. The Ottomen were caught off-guard, and Thessalonika fell!

If we can cleanse the area of Ottoman units, we plan to rebuild the city of Bucharest.
