I saw him on Fox one night talking to Sean Hannity. This was shortly after the election. He was talking about how the Democratic Party must move to the center if it wants to get itself out of the mess that it's gotten itself into. I couldn't agree with the man more, like I agree with him on a "million" other things. The Democratic Party has moved too far to the left, which has alienated millions of swing voters.

Lieberman is one Democrat that I actually have a lot of respect for.

The favorite argument is that the rich should ‘pay their fair share’ vis-à-vis taxes. What would be fair? If the top 10% paid 50% of the tax burden for the nation? 65%? 85% would you think that fair? If you are grinning, you already know that the top 10% do pay 90% of this nations tax burden. Stinkin rich people.

Pro choice? I’m pro choice, if you’re talking about choosing the protection of the 2nd amendment. If you are talking about allowing me to allocated a portion of my tax dollar as a voucher to get my kids out of a failing public education system and into a school that has to answer to me as a paying patron. Pro choice? You mean I could choose to invest a portion of my Social Security into the market which has NEVER underperformed the existing SS return for any 10 year period, including the great depression?
Is the left in favor of granting me those choices?

I can't believe I am sayign this, but at this point-the common man is completley ignorant of what is REALLY going on-this goes for both dems and reps.
