My father-in-law had breast cancer last year. You don't hear much about men with that.

Just got back from a 5 hour visit to the emergency room with lower abdominal/scrotum pain. The ultrasounds showed "a small mass" on my right testicle. And yes, the title of this thread is a direct quote fromt the doctor upon reviewing those ultrasounds. I won't be able to schedule an appointment with the uralogist until Tuesday morning (bad holiday timing). Urine tests came back normal, bloodwork had to be sent to the other local hospital since they get government money and have the expensive equipment for what needs to be checked in my case, so I won't know the results of those tests until later.
Wonderful.
Actually, I'm in good spirits. Really guys and dolls, I'm ok. Right now, it's just "a mass" not a grapefruit-sized proto-Human growing out of my crotch. Still, there's no denying Apolyton is a great source of emotional support if it turns out I do have cancer of the nutsack.
And besides, it's just the one testicle. I have two of them, plus I'm gay, so it's not like I'd really* be putting either of them to reproductive use anyway.

Havent read the whole thread but Ive had the same thing DRoseDARs, same pains as you describe, although I got all clear on the first scan. I wish I could remember what the nurse said might be the cause, but she was wiping gel off my balls with a tissue at the time and I was pretty relieved too. The pains were on and off periods for like 15mins every other day but they died down and eventually stopped after 3 or 4 months (about a month after getting the scan).

well I remember a few ought years ago I'd gone to the uralamogist in noticing a "lump" of sorts. Fortunately enough it was just what's a naturally occuring calcium deposit on the top of the ol' seed nugget. I got a handshake for the keen observation and relief that nutzone cancer was out of the question!
I hope the same happens for you, buddy!

My older brother went through the same thing a couple of years ago. They operated and removed the mass. He also did some chemo. He's been fine ever since and is still being monitored.
