Um ... I know how much of a pain this is going to sound, but what are the restart rules? I got an awful lot of mountains in my start ... awful, awful lot ... I can probably tough it out, but I'd probably rather have a few food producing squares near by and all that ...

Good chance at iron though.

I say go with the majority on this one. I have my own views - and snoop wouldn't like them. But I am easy either way.

snoop - can you live with it? I am going to leave the call up to you.

My sense is that you go with it. But that is simply my opinion. I have never restaretd a SP or MP game because of a poor start. I got mushed from the Classics PTW as a result. My start in Handshake is awful, probably one of the worst I have had - and yet I am loving the challenge of making it work.

But again - that being said, it is simply my opinion, and I know a lot of people think otherwise. So, I leave the call up to you.

lol ... well, if the sense is not to, it's fine. I'll have a very hard time starting out, but maybe i'll be lucky and there will be some food nearby It's probably more of a "wait until 3750 bc to settle your capital" situation rather than a "dead" situation ... but in Double Blind I had a nicer start than this yet am pretty much out of the running due to more jungle than I can wade through ...

Nah....Beta has the admin password, Grandpa for Burly, Snoopy for Vovan....Chrisius had the last turn as per this post and should send it to Snoopy playing the Ottomans.

Let's resume play at 3500BC. I don't want to lose 10 turns and another 2 months

I do not want to play someone else's start. I have taken over enough games to realize that my strategy is not the same as everyone's, and far too often it ends up with me having a lousy game. 10 turns is not so many to replay, but *how* you play them matters.

If you wish to replay the old game, feel free, but without me ...

And snoop - there is a whine time limit. You can whine until 1500 bc and then that's it.
