Why do they need to spin? Both McNabb and Reid have come out and each accepted the blame for the loss, offering no excuses. The teammates were asked direct questions about what happened during the last 5 minutes of the game and they answered truthfully without any spin on the answers as excuses.

Stop hating on Philly just because everyone else does...
Most people who hate Philly probably have never been there and dont know anyone who lives there...

I remember Johnny Carson used to constantly make jokes that put down NJ - where I was born.. He never lived there and the people who laughed at those jokes probably never lived there but they just laughed because everyone else was laughing. Same thing goes for Philly haters...

hmmmmm... my whole family was rooting for them and we were disappointed when they lost

While they did own up to it and take the blame... this he was sick, or may have sustained a concussion is just after the fact media top spin

Ming, don't worry about. Apparently I was hating on Philly earlier this year when I questioning something. You can't say anything not 100% good or else you are hating on them.

I guess that is the same thing with not being 100% on board with the Pats... then you are disrespecting them .

True. But this is where the Bears have been most of my life. A better than average defense and a bottom of the barrel offense. When the finally got a decent quarterback in McMahon, the team soared.

Add a good O/L and a good QB, and the Bears are competitive.

if he was sick, it was because of the pressure. He couldn't handle the pressure of the big game.

He should be better next year if they make the superbowl.

Outside of the 1985 year, the 1977 Bears had a better offense (with Avellini) was more potent than the McMahon Bears. Also McMahon's Bears in 1984 weren't that great on offense, and were akin to the 1986 Bears, who were mostly led by Mike Tomczak.

Do y'all remember a couple of years ago when the Bears went 13-3 and Bledsoe was available, there was talk of Bledsoe going to the Bears. Didn't happen, but I sure wish it had.

Next year as it is we are going to see Grossman vs. George. I have a hunch that George is the better quarterback. Remember the huge year Cunningham had when the Vikes pulled him off the scrap heap in '99. George may have one or two of those kind of years in him still.

Garcia is underrated. He didn't do that bad in San Fransisco. Though I'm not sure he's the type of QB who can go deep into the playoffs, he's better than many starters.
