That's 301 HR total, 300 when the Babe retired.

Funny, I had thought that Hornsby retired first.

Ding, ding, ding. You're up, PLATO.

In 1920, the Chicago Tigers and Chicago Cardinals played in the old APFA. The Decatur Staleys moved to Chicago the next year when the Tigers folded, and ultimately changed their name to the Chicago Bears.

Actually, I didn't. I have a loan officer from Illinois. Turns out his Grandfather worked for the Cardinals. That team was so obscure that even gramps was unsure, but thought that they may have been the tigers...hence the "?".

Anybody want to have a go at who the Cardinals first coach was?

BTW, Fulmer

Anybody check out his recruiting class for this year yet?

Had to look that one up. Check out that record after a 30+ year layoff!

On the recruiting class, it's definitely looking strong. How many do you expect to lose to the qualifying process? Wish we could've pulled that DT from Athens, but some friends up there say he was UT's to lose from the get-go.

Yeah. I think your right. Marshall Smith is the answer. Let's change the question to:

What was the name of the field they first played on?
