Well, first some peace before the war.

Spaced Cowboy decided it was time to send his fleet on a do-or-die mission. Before departing, he left all 19 of his colonies to the Sandman, keeping only his four homeworlds.

His fleet had the furthest to travel to their battle, so we shall hear more about it later.

And now some more peace, of the most violent kind.

This turn, Hercules and Lord Nuclear didn't attack together. Not like it mattered, as they each had firepower that could crush any other Overlord. While Lord Nuclear stayed home, though, Hercules went on the warpath, taking his entire fleet of 203 tons to Paddy.

Paddy, smart man he was, had raised a shield. Six torpedofrigates smacked against it.

And yet more peace, if one can call an unopposed occupation peace.

Sandman went on the rampage again, and this time he finally scored big. With Hercules out of town, his squadron of ten ships easily occupied Herc's 12 colonies, and his two homeworlds, one of which had just been settled.

With no supplies, Herc was forced to cannibalize some of his ships for parts. Eight laserfrigates, one fighterdreadnaught, and nine torpedofrigates were scrapped.

The surviving force still weighed in at a very potent 189 tons, however.

I am sure Smiley, Spaced or Sandman could explain what happened, but I will try...

I suspect that Spaced figured the you (Hercules) and Lord Nuclear would be attacking him again, and not wanting to give up his bases to you, he gave all his captured bases to Sandman, keeping only his self built bases (which would have become captured if he transferred them to Sandman).

One other clarification, last game I thought I could transfer BPs to another player, and Ljube disallowed this. I think this should also be added to the ruleset quoted above (that transferring BPs is not allowed).
