While he may have been the last newbie to join this game, unless I am mistaken this is Hercules, Lord Nuclear and Paddy the Scot's first game each, and they seem to be doing quite well

(if rumours are true Lord Nuclear even eliminated one known as Sparrowhawk )

Invite only?! I don't think I've ever heard of a FG that's invite only. The reason the same people seem to be playing all of them is because they hang around on this forum so much that when a sign-up thread appears they fill the first slots posthaste. *cough*

Spaced Cowboy played all games. I remember him playing game one where he was the strongest of all and the rest of us (Skanky, Vlad and I) had to form an alliance to stop him.


EDIT: Unrelated to this, Kassi, did you see my post in the Finnish forum? Was it correct Finnish? Also, could you add the posts made by ljcvetko to the Ljube-ljcvetko total?

Oh, you mean the Suomithreadi? I'll check out the post again and see. IIRC it was pretty good, but not quite spot on, of course.

Most of the old timers attacked in fear of first turn elimation, which set them up for elimation later on as they wasted their fleets and have no chance of building a shield....while the n00bs hid.....

My great miscalcuation was the fact that absolutely no one other than the guy I attacked was elimated on turn 1, while I expected 1/3 to be gone by that time.....

Ok, you could blame Smiley for this mistake, but I suspect he copied my chart on the Forum Games Compendium Thread at the top of the Other Games Forum.

So you could blame me for this mistake, but in preparing the summary, I checked the starting players in each of the games threads and prepared my summary from that (including General Tacticus's summary from Game III Here is the LINK ).

So you could blame General Tacticus for leaving Spaced out of the original summary (even though he posted his orders 4 minutes after the game thread was posted).

Therefore, I think the ultimate responsibility for this error is Spaced ....but he could blame Ljube (not sure why, but I am sure Ljube betrayed him somehow here), or maybe DrSpike (for murraying him out of the game before it even started)....Theeben is always a good target (just because).
