Had Doc chose to build something rather than sit on his pile of BPs he might have stood a chance against the surprisingly weak attacks thrown at him. But the master of the Murray chose to go out with a bang instead.

Spaced came first, with a laser fleet that dwarfed Doc's. Boom.

Skanky found himself in a whole world of trouble. Hercules had sent his Centurion Armada against him. Boasting a full hundred tons of balanced firepower, it nearly outnumbered Skanky's rag tag fleet of frigates even if ships rather than tons were counted.

The opening round confirmed Skanky's worst fears. Hercules swarmed with fighters while Skanky's torpedo captains had trouble hitting the spread out enemy fleet. In one round almost half the fleet was lost.

EDIT: Skanky's tactics should say "Back Off".

Luckily the next round saw lasers, which Skanky had wisely backed away from. Damage was light, but Skanky was running out of cannon fodder fast.

Herc launched fighters again, but this time Skanky was ready. Billions of nanoBPs worth of fighter planes were reduced to scrap aluminum. Still, his crews were so outnumbered that their hands were full and only minor damage was done to the enemy fleet.

As he watched most of his fleet blow up, Skanky's surviving laser crews continued to pound away in a duel of focused energy. Every single one of Skanky's laser ships was damaged, all but one critically.

Paddy was also engaged in a David-and-Goliath match, though this one was of his choosing, and the odds were far worse, almost three to one. Yet Paddy's charge actually managed to do some damage to the mighty Joncha empire.
