Aeson, go to sleep. I know the situation where you keep yourself up far beyond bed time when a save needs to be played... at least it's not 7 am for you yet

I think we've got to start to think on diplomacy stuff soon, both for ND and GoW. But there is no need to do this the coming few hours... and I've got some more application letters to write

(BTW, there is a possibility I'm visiting the US shortly... discussions are progressing with a firm which has a branch office on Wall street. Part of the training would happen there. Nothing decided yet, but some progress is being made on my working situation... finally!)

RP should be told that we are sending them most of our cities on Lego and Radio. And that Flight will be coming next turn, with Computers the next. Have them keep enough cash over the next couple turns to upgrade their Infantry to MI. Mention that if they can build an FP (not in the city opposite Port Isolation) and Palace jump to Lego soon that would probably be best, but they would need some Infantry/MI over there to protect their holdings before then. Also send them a copy of the division agreement so they can plan their city placement and border expansion. Tell them that the S mountain has Uranium on it so they can plan to properly defend that tile and place the claiming city appropriately.

I think we should at least try to talk to ND before we settle on the idea of war between us. Apollogize to them for our unit on their side of the Lego division. Say that we didn't realize that our unit might be in the way of their colonization this turn. Don't mention the Uranium, it should be clear enough why we are bringing up units on "the other side".

Then mention the noticeable buildup by both sides in the straits between us. Ask them if they would be interested in an agreement whereby both teams can agree to only having a limited number of scout units in those straits for the mutual safety of each of us.

This turn and the next might be our only shot at avoiding war with ND. If they see all these BBs and Subs coming online at this current high clip maybe they will rethink the possibility of a successful crossing. The other possibility is that they try to rush things and leave their invasion poorly executed.

ND has gained a lot of new players lately. I have seen a number of new (to me) name posting the save and comments.

no, I'm sorry... I've been terribly busy the past few days, and it won't change anytime soon. I hope I'll be able to hop in here tomorrow to give some comments, as I've got to run again.

Just a small one for the road: Whatever gets sent to ND, we can not assume that ND knows we've got a spy placed. Therefore, we can't simply say that we would like to avoid the buildup of marines, as they are unnecessary... Let's not give them any info they might not have for the moment!

If Lego was WWI, this is going to be WWII, especially with nukes being so close...I agree with you there, NYE.
