guys, there appears to be a problem associated with diplomacy. When I load the save I'm faced with an offer of a peace treaty from Ghandi (??) but then the game bombs.

I've had this before in the 6p2 game. I've tried replaying 540ad but offered Ghandi 1g in an attempt to change the games parameters with respect to diplomacy between India and Persia.

Unless anyone has any other ideas?

I don't think the RNG has been affected, so as long as you conduct your battles in the same logical order as before, you should get the same outcomes..

here's hoping its fixed!

Interesting. Sounds like what happened to me... if you recall, the Persians were beating down the Chinese defenses. In the middle of the onslaught, I received a peace offer from the Persians unaccepted. An offer the Persians, according to Andydog, never made.

pretty frustrating that the game does this.

Paddy: Don't be so quick to crush our 1.15 games. This game is heading towards a great finish!!!! and BOC is just getting to the interesting part. I promise, we won't start any new 1.15 games

Because at the start of 550ad I was faced with a diplomacy screen that was bugged and caused the game to bomb.

Hence replaying 540ad but doing in game diplomacy differently in an attempt to prevent the bug.

And it worked! 550ad successfully played and sent to Mike this morning.

Who I imagine is hungover again given his numerous save sending fuk ups of last night. I reckon his liver will last another 5 years tops.
