in retrospect this seems obvious, way back when women only had sex with the guys that brought back the kill. The slower ones didn't breed, so that makes this women's fault

The cpu comparision is probably apt though, cpu speed isn't the sole determinant in computing power.

i read somewhere, though, that women are better able to think in parallel.

so while mens' brains might be faster, womens' brains might be more distributed.

AMD doesn't have parallel processing on its chips, yet, whereas Intel has hyperthreading, which is pseudo-parallel processing.

Therefore, if we're going to do a stupid Intel/AMD comparison, Intel would be more women than men.

that is what it is all about, if you don't have children, you don't pass on the "I'm smarter/faster/better" genes. That applies to women as well as men.

As said in the britcom Coupling, the entire history of advancement was so that men could look at women. Fire? You get to see women in the dark. Wheels? You get to see women in other places. Intarwebs? You get to see women you've never met faster and easier than ever before.

DEfinitely the Brit version.. the US version was lagging and not working. I don't know why it wasn't clicking, they had the same dialogues and all that, everything same, just different actors. Then again, that made the difference.

Right, Anderson IS funnier but I think Whose Line is it anyway US version is good anyway, I like it.. However I don't know what the problem is, I mean the episodes and all were exactly the same, maybe that was a problem too.. it didn't work for anyone else but that particular group. I don't think it has anything to do with ... nationalities so much.

Enterprise sucks. I wish I'd seen the American version of Coupling, though. Might not have been as bad as everyone says.

q cubed, no no it was bad OK.. I mean, it looked fine.. but.. somehow it wasn't funny at all. It just didn't work AT ALL. Weird really.. actors were pro, settings were OK.. but that magic didn't happen.
