Actually one of the problems with sexual abuse is that some children do enjoy it at some level and then feel guilt and complicity with the abuser about those feelings. Paedophiles use this, amongst other diabolical strategies, to stop children talking about what happened to them.

It depends on what the abuse is - rape is never pleasant but touching can be.

I have to disagree here I have a very close person tome that was sexually abused. Both by touching then the perp took it further to sexual penetration This young lady was five when it started and in her teens when it ended. She never once enjoyed what this man did. She is now crictical of all elderly men and somewhat of a recluse.

well that is anecdotal and only one case - other victims report they derived pleasure from the abuse and the guilt associated with that was a barrier to getting help.

Sad to think it but a child can believe they are as bad as the perp. Paedos encourage this idea.

I'm not suggesting the abuse is enjoyed in every case or even most.

alex I suppose u can be right but i stil dont know how one can get pleasure not when you have an idea what is happening is wrong. the shame and guilt wouldnt be pleasurable at all. and diss Since im not a male and most of my patients have been female I cant agree or disagree. One widely documented case here involved a famous writer who was sexually abused by various men as a young teen and she said she was conflicted between pleasure and pain about it all.

This may be why a large number of women in the sex industry childhood abuse - as one said, I was groomed for it as a child.

The scary thing with little kids is what they live is "normal" to them and some only realise years later that they were victims.

Look at what I said though. Every single boy child I dealt with wouldnt not discuss what happened for most of them the convinced themselves the abuse never happened. It wasnt till just recently that young men have been reassured that they have no reason to be ashamed. They still dont want to discuss this. and those that have never acknowledged the pleasure aspect.

Once again i cant diagree with that theory. I havent worked with pedophiles. they would have to be evil to do that to a child. I am using this as an argument here that boys molested are 99.5 % not to report it to anyone. I also have looked at this kid in questions age and strongly believe he has already had experience with masturbation. Done to him by him just to clarify this. The main reason I say this all made up and brought up by the mother is because Lots of money involved here and the fact the kid is still in school such high profile how do u show ur face after this?
