Why thumbs down to atheism? It brings a wave of common sense. Anyways, atheism is not on the decline. Those articles merely stated an opinion. I've seen figures showing it has been increasing steadily. In fact it is christianity under attack and I think it'll start to decline too.

For the record, there are 5 different classifications of Christians:

Liberal, Moderate, Conservative, Fundamental and Extreme Fundamental.

The liberal and extreme fundamental factions are not in line with the real faith, though. You probably know what I mean by a liberal "Christian," but extreme fundamental "Christians" are those fascist and neo-nazi types, which for the record I am strongly against.

As for myself, I am fundamentally religious, but politically a centrist. Yes, in my opinion there are many things wrong with both liberal and conservative political agendas, but there are also many things right with both agendas. My political views basically include the good from both agendas, which suprisingly is equivalent to my fundamental Christian beliefs.

Well the problem is that the only kind of Christianity in decline is the more liberal/moderate types, if things keep on going how they are its going to really polarize America.

I have to agree with this... unfortunately... that is totally true. And how is MNG a political centerist? Sorry UR.. I'm not attacking him personally.. I just am pointing out that's a falsehood.

Go use Windows MNG, Gates doesn't look like the mandala type to me.

Just as an example, Elton John is a bisexual, but I do like his music. I even have one of his albums. Also, Michael Jackson is a plain weirdo and he may even be a child molestor, but some of his music is just plain awesome!
