A nice pic (gay thread)

I like maps. Here is one I've came upon, I think it may interest some of You.
It's a downsized version.
It is a map depicting dealing with gay issue in various countries.

dark blue - same-sex marriage legal
dark green - same-sex unions legal
light green - homosexuality legal, but no unions or marriages
yellow - homosexuality illegal, minimal penalty
orangish - homosexuality illegal, large penalty
red - homosexuality illegal, life in prison
dark red - death penalty for homosexuality
pink - homosexuality illegal, but lack of info about penalty
greyish - lack of info

In general, homosexuality is illegal in most of African and Muslim countries (I think it is also illegal in Jordan, which is not visible on the map), also in India and surroundings.
On the other hand, same-sex marriages and unions are only present in Christian countries - but there are also some Christian countries that forbid homosexual acts.

It's probable that homosexuality was not illegal in Saddam's Iraq. Now it will probably change, though.

Oh, and I've seen another map of gay legislation not so ong ago, and of the tree Saharean states, that is Mali, Niger and Chad, I recall that only in one homosex was legal, I think in Chad.
So it's probably wrong in that map as well
