I have a brand new comp with XP. CTP installed w/o error but on clicking play I receive:
Your game terminated abruptly. Report problem to Activision? CRC: 4FF7-C61B
Can anyone help please? I have been everywhere looking for this issue and when I seem to find it, there's some just a little different about the scenario.

It is CTP. I attempted to install the apolyton patch but upon installation it said that I didn't need to with the game version I have. Not sure what that means.

Sorry been so long since CtP, forgot what the problem was. Did you try the CtP forum? See whats there, and try the search function, that might help you out, since I remeber a few people had that problem, but then again that was before xp came out.
