I could careless as long as Rob and Amber lose.
The gay couple is more like a gay guy and some puppy on a string. Lynn just tells Alex what to do whenever, they might as well get rid of Alex. It's a shame, but I hope they stick around for a while for entertainment sake.
The old couple surprised me last week, especially after Gretched split her head open, she even did the Roadblock. Generally, she annoys me because she has to commentate on everything, and Meredith just kind of mopes around like the old fart that he is. Rob is a total ass to them so I'd like to see them stay until Rob is ousted.
The brother's really showed that they came to win I like that, and I will continue to root for them.
The black couple seem nice, and she is cute, but they couldn't navigate themselves out of paper bag. Why it would be nice to see them win I don't see it. (It made me laugh that they revered to Africa as THE MOTHERLAND, and that she thinks she actually was in an orphange for more than 3 seconds).
The POW guy and the Pagent Queen are stupid, I don't want them to win. Nothing against them, just they aren't really any fun. Maybe if they faught more.

I agree that idiots being idiots can be funny, but not like this.
I would prefer to watch something like Candid Camera; where an "average joe" becomes a fool for a moment.
Most Reality shows are made up of ACTUAL idiots, who are idiots all the time, they can't help it, they think they're amazing and perfect and they talk about how meaningful their life is.
You know they are born idiots, they are not "average joes", so you watch it knowing that there are going to be countless idiotic events. Because of this, reality shows are generally more annoying than funny.
I would be much more entertained to see a "Big Brother" type of show, where a bunch of average joe's go in. The whole place is booby trapped. Walk into a room, bucket of freezing water falls on you. Go to your bed for a sleep, the whole bed collapses and you are forced to rebuild it. Only one shower works and it's only allowed to be on for 10 minutes. There's only one bra in the whole house and one strap is broken, etc. Thousands of annoying traps, etc. To try and get people to give up and want out.
The last person who doesn't quit will be the winner.
This would make me laugh so hard I would wet myself

Reality shows don't look for idiots as much as they look for stereotypes and/or people that will clash. Idiots are easy to find, they have to offer something more or the show dies, like the Benefactor.
The Amazing Race
Rob & Amber (Reality Celebrities) - the "evil" couple with the "evil" reputation from Survivor. Amber being the "evil" ditzy girlfriend to the "badguy" is gravy. Personally, I have less against how they play the game & more against their arrogance & overblown "they were so smart on Survivor" fame... just like Rich Hatch - Survivor genius? please. 
Lynn & Alex (Gays) - flamboyant gay couple, one dominant, with high pitch gay voices and mannerisms.
Uchenna & Joyce (Black Couple) - seems like a normal black couple... I think they made a wise move to go for normal here.
Meredith & Gretchen (Grandpa & Grandma) - there always seems to be a Grandma/Grandpa team, the perfect underdogs. I'm impressed they made it this far but I still find them least likely to win.
Ron & Kelly (POW & Girl) - Be it a firefighter, policeman, or American soldier... they'll find someone who puts their life on the line. POW adds sympathy points too. Girlfriend is gravy.
Brian & Greg (Brothers) - seems like a normal brother team. Brian is an actor.

Most reality shows are just some type of game show, but instead of a Price is Right studio with bimbos they go to a different location, which they control and manipulate. And the bimbos instead become some of the contestants (like going naked for a scoop of peanut butter or stripping in NY city). It's not really that fascinating or horrible.
Some reality shows, although boring, do give families a new house, why hate that? The host may be annoying but do I what I do & don't watch. Other reality shows can be pretty bad, like Temptation Island or Paris Hilton's Simple Life.

Rob and Amber are my favorites now. I was hoping that the brothers would win, but they were just a little too stupid to compete. Here's my take on the remaining teams:
Rob & Amber - Cocky, but smart and good. I remember watching Rob on Survivor and at first thinking that he was a d!ck. Then I realized why he's so good - he IS a d!ck, but he knows it and uses it to his advantage, rather than just being oblivious to it. I doubt I'd want to be friends with him, but it makes it entertaining in shows like this.
Uchena & Joyce - Nothing against them, and I wouldn't mind if they won. They seem to be doing well, but they are prone to making some dumb mistakes.
Ron & Kelly - Dislike them more all the time. Ron sounds like he's mildly retarded, and Kelly's just a *****. Plus, I can't stand anyone who would say something like "I just try to put the Lord first" when she's pissed at her boyfriend.
Meredith & Gretchen - First off, Meredith - get a guy's name. They have no business still being in the race. I'm sure they're great old people, but they just aren't fast or smart enough to be there. Only dumb luck (a non-elimination) has kept them going. And Gretchen's constant old lady whining is starting to wear thin.
Lynn & Alex - They're ok, but the flamboyant drama queen stuff is taxing. Thankfully they either don't seem to do it all that much, or the editors aren't showing it much. Still, they seem to be a strong team and will almost certainly be in the top three if they can stop wrecking cars.
