Greetings Great Lord! I have just come from the barracks in Bloodview and I
must tell you there is sadness among the men there that they will not have the
opportunity to fight next to our great friends, The Lost Boys.
The Khan and I discussed your response while watching a demonstration of riding
techniques presented by The Red Guards elite horse units just yesterday. We
feel that you are indeed owed an explanation of why we had no choice but to
take up arms against Desolation Row.
1.) Desolation Row warriors were interfering with the movement of troops in a
war zone. The Khan had contacted Lord aqua on several occasions to ask that
this warrior take a different route so as not to delay our troops rushing to
the front. Lord aqua agreed to move this warrior several times, but each time
continued to block Red Guard Troops!
2.) Lord Aqua was contacted by me personally to establish friendly relations.
His response was to offer an incredibly one sided technology trade! When we
politely asked that he explain his reasons for this offer, he responded that
our answer was "ambiguous". It appeared to all that he was trying to dictate
terms to us! I can tell you that one member of the great council even buried
his axe in the table in frustration! We tried and tried to get straight
answers, but were constantly met with something that could not be described any
other way than "double-talk"
3.) Lord Aqua then proceeded to start insulting all emissaries that were sent
to clear this matter up!
4.) The final straw was when his warrior appeared on our boarder. Now
normally, the Horde welcomes benevolent visitors. We are, after all, a people
who enjoy great feasts and visitors from a foriegn land are a wonderful reason
to have one. However, this was the same warrior that had been harrasing Red
Guard troop movements and refused to keep his word! At this point, most of our
military was abroad and the Hordeland was scarcly defended. There was no
choice. We could not let this villan into our interior! The civilians were
panicking. The Khan even had to send orders to the front to recall some troops
for Hordeland Defense. Was this just the beginning of an invasion? Lord Aqua
had already shown he could not be trusted!
The defense of our people was paramount. We removed this threat to our
people.
However, we truly are a peace loving people. We have had contact with Lord
Aqua to discuss a resumption of peaceful relations. His responses are
unbelievable! He lies about the contacts we have had in the past even when
presented with transcripts! He has said that he would rather fight and die
than to accept our peace offerings! It is clear that his people are mad with
war lust! They have created and trained a most fearsome unit called the
immortal! No people are safe in our opinion!
While we understand that you do not wish to be involved in a war (who does?),
we believe that the peace of the world is at stake! Consider this...Should the
mighty Horde armies fall in combat, where is Lord Aqua to take his agression
next? I must say that with these terrible units that he has created the
glorious cities of the Lost Boys would be in serious danger!
Only together can we make a safer world. I ask you to reconsider your position
based on this new information. I ask that you act to ensure the safety of your
own people! The land that you will take will yield far more in shields and
production than you would spend in undertaking this most necessary task.
In any event, The Horde revels in our friendship and we once again await your
response.
