Andydog
MickeyJ
Shogun Gunner
Paddy

this is how it is in Two Boxes of Chocolates

as well as in The Sword of the Shogun Gunner

I sadly mixed it up when creating 1799 will never be the same

actually I've just noticed a problem.. we only have 10 gold and with that amount of units, even with science and lux set to zero we are still loosing 4gpt, which means that on turn 3 our workers will start getting disbanded..

is it much work to give us say 500 gold?

Land and resources are roughly distributed to divide everything into four major areas of equal value. Easter eggs have also been distributed, so keep an eye peeled.

I'm having some wierd POP3 related problems with gmail...anyone else?

I tried to respond to message Paddy sent me -- receiving the message in Outlook was obviously no problem, but the reply is stuck in my outbox and cannot be sent via smtp.gmail.com Other messages go out without any problem...

i've not had any probs with gmail so far. in fact i've even chucked out outlook express and just use gmail in my firefox browser. i've set it so it downloads straight into my PBEM folder so it's the quickest. also i like the 'thread' way of organising mail so far. lables are good!

another thing can be in "Outlook Properties" "General" do you have a reply address here?

we are very happy with gmail, lots of mail going all over the shop

yes it can get a little slow, but the benefits are cool

certainly am matey, I like to keep track of the few pbem games I am in and now it is so so easily achieved... no matter where I am. I even have a C3C disc and another with the patch in the back of my main music travelling case life moves along happily indeed...

Yes, the instructions from within gmail are rather complete. I have the ports set properly, the password, the correct checkboxes indicated...



I can live with it this way (getting PBEM saves from the web interface) as I'm actually getting all the saves now -- something MSN couldn't apparently do for me....
