varwnos: I'm thinking we could use it as a barbarian city style. What do you think CapTVK?

If it's barbarian you could a bit more colour here and there (red&gold banners etc..)

Make the city a bit more lively...

Steam Age city graphics!

Here's the first one, Frog Lane, based on the Toad Lane co-op store in Rochdale, UK. One of the earliest modern cooperatives, the "Rochdale Principles" are still used by cooperatives today.

More information: http://museum.co-op.ac.uk/

The store, built 1864.

The tile: The twin pine trees in the back and the circular well are a
reference to the international co-op symbol- two pine trees inscribed within a circle.

18 down, 2 to go... Anyone want to guess what the last two cities are going to be? Hint hint, there's definitely been a pattern.

Hi CapTVK!

Do you still think you could do something about that horn unit? The time when it's needed is getting close...

And if you can't, no worries, I'll find another solution...

Suffering from ads?

There will be one more set of five to round out the 5x5 grid, which represents, depending on which way one reads the grid, the five stages of Communist and Capitalist theories of economic development.

This set will represent the preindustrial Renaissance/Enlightenment era, from 1400s to 1800s. Currently working on concept sketches.

You will find the files under "your freeciv install path"/data/"tilesetname", so fx the isotrident gfx is under data/isotrident/

You can read more about tilesets here:
http://www.freeciv.org/index.php/Tilesets

It's very flexible so it might be a bit confusing at first, althought just modifying existing tilesets should be pretty straightforward.
