There is no binary released yet. The version in CVS is the development version. You will have to either: download the current CVS HEAD and compile it yourself (which is far from trivial if your using Windows) or wait for the next stable release which will probably be 2.1. (there will still be 2.0.x releases, but these are bugfix releases on the current stable version).

Btw, the development version of freeciv uses true color PNG's so you don't have to worry about palettes.

Two, questions, for anyone out there:
1) I was once pointed to the Graphics Workshop thread on Poly, but I haven't been able to find it since the crash. Does anyone know if (and where) it was reconstituted?

2) Has anyone seen the main ship of Species 8472?: http://www.startrek.com/startrek/vi...cle/119943.html A different picture of the ship I'm talking about can be found at the top of this website (along with other ships I've never heard of scattered throughout the website): http://smcsta2.tripod.com/species_8472.htm

PS- Cap, I haven't forgotten. I've been having a devil of a time getting the pack on and looking right, and getting the white water thing.
