This is my first time posting on this thread as until now I've kept my complaints on the Scenario League complaint thread. Now I have the utmost respect when I make this comment, but to delay any action for three days because of a post by St. Leo.... well it seems just a little vindictive of you.

Especially since so many of us have been waiting patiently and politely for the restoration.

I can understand that you resent a "bad taste" joke, but I'm sure you can understand too that the frustration gets higher and higher for the damaged forum users...

And I would like to add that the posters behaved VERY politely (except for this post above, which was more a joke IMHO) and showed much patience. I even remember thanking you for your efforts (a bit too early, though ).

BUT, even if I appreciate everything you do for free (Yes, I believe that you don't earn any money for all the hours spent on Poly!) and am grateful for that, and even if I can understand your resenting of the afore-mentioned post, I think it's really unfair to take us all as ostages because of 1 post...

I'm curious Mark G, assuming that nothing can persuade you to cease punishing each and every forum member for St Leo's joke, just what kind of progress can we expect to see when the three day sentence is finished?

Seing that it was St Leo who (accidentally) deleted the threads, I'm sure he wouldn't complain (much at least ) if he was supposed to restore them... Is there a way to enable him to do so? (Hell, I'd do it myself if asked, but I don't know anything about the forum's software... )

It wasn't St Leo who deleted it. It was the entire forum that got deleted, not the threads, and St. Leo doesn't have the power do delete forums.

Thanks, Markos. This really is a spectacular feat. I have an appreciation of the skills involved. I know it took a lot of effort and browsweat on your part, and I genuinely appreciate it.

Almost -- right now, we're look at early August for this.
