I do get ferocious heartburn, but only on days when I eat a lot of carbohydrates. That was one of the very pleasant benefits I had while on the Atkins diet, no heartburn. I have Pepcid AC, and I generally take one before bed, since I only get heartburn at night while sleeping.

I guess I should discover whether there are free county health services here.

Believe it or not garlic ice cream was one of my favorate things I tried at the Gilroy Garlic Festival.

Vegemite is good though I've never tried it with garlic before so I'll have to give it a try. Do you use minced garlic, sliced garlic, or can I be lazy and just use garlic powder?

Vegemite and Garlic sandwiches are potent. A lot of people would call me crazy.... I have had it before... but I was kinda making a joke. Vegemite and Garlic are both very strong flavours...
Probably good if you have the flu though...
