I think I'm allergic to garlic.

Whenever I've eaten garlic in the past few months, it's given me terrible upset stomach. I feel sick for days.

Most recently, garlic mashed potatoes and last night a pot roast. I've been feeling the garlic all day since then. :sob:

When you say "feeling the garlic" how so? How do you know it was the garlic?

No. I froze half of it so the wife can have it when she gets back from visiting with her momma. I had maybe a 1/3rd of it.

It's the only common ingredient from the garlic mashed potatoess and the pot roast.

I don't know how I know it's the garlic, but I do.

I'm not Italian, but I do know that I wouldn't want to live without garlic, so I do feel some of your pain.

You can test your self for allergy to anything, IIRC. rub some garlic on your hand, and then, ***** yourself on the hand in that place.

I now that my skin has an allergic reaction to garlic when I rub it. Doesn't mean I don't eat the stuff.

anyway the way to eat garlic is raw uncooked. which will burn but has retained all its nutricious elements. but you can't do that if you're going out so it's a so so situation.

No, I used this recipe from Good Eats. The wife loved it, and I must admit it was quite good. I'm actually surprised she liked it because she's not really all that into strange combinations of food and spices.
