Nah, I've had enough wars with GoW to satisfy a lifetime of warmongerism. Or well... at least until Civ4 comes out.

Given that the PTWDG will be over by the time this new ISDG starts, I really would like to be fully active in the next incarnation of the Apolyton team. I'll definitely be looking forward for a FAM slot or maybe a Consul seat time-willing

And glad to see you are active again, we'll kick ass with you involved in the building.

That sounds really strange. My money would be on a diplomat with the people skills of a rabid trout. Seeing as many of GWT are joining us, the feelings couldn't be that hard in general.

Perhaps one of the new arrivals will correct us on our misunderstandings.

Wel it was not exactly GWT that had strong feelings but it was Players and Teammembers of GWT that had strong feelings.

It proved that it is a bad habit of keeping bad feelings when changing from one Game to the other. A friend in one game can be a grave enemy in the other

Concerning the BAT - GWT story. From the point of the GWT they were lousy allys to say the least.

GWT had an alliance with them from the beginning of the game.
They never showed up to a Chat.
They did not response to proposals.
When GWT had to take lonesome decisions they blamed us ruining their game.

Well it is from the point of GWT. BAT may tell a different story!

I don't think we do. I don't anyway.

He was a highly visible participant/driver of C3 demogames on Poly. He did a lot to organise the first C3DG and was the first president.

Later he was very active in organising a multiteam demogame for PtW. His team was Lux Invicta. Wondering if I could get interest in a team going, I asked if anyone was interested in Trash Trip's Ass.

He was also a highly active and invaluable participant for the Poly team in the first ISDG, and then he decided to see what things were like elsewhere so he went to another team.

Now it seems the Trash Trip's Ass tradition lives on. I think it is more competitive spirit than spite.

I have more than one reason to want to Trash Trip's A$$, but none of them are of the hating sort.

Trip used the spreadsheets (or a version based on them) that I has spent numberous hours developing for the PTWISDG and other PBEM games for the C3C CGN team, without my permission. I had even requested that he would quit using it and he had refused. As he was (at the time) a Consul of the PTWISDG team, he was sent regular updates of my sheets and had even gotten me to give him some pointers / extended tutorial as to how it worked.

Trip also has a vast EGO, towit, he had a "brag session" with Boric of GWT and Lucky of GCA where he had, in so many words, had told them that we were about to invade their contenent (I have recently looked at GWT's opened Private forum and have seen some discussion that points towards confirming this supposition). Granted, Boric could have planded for this eventuality, but the case remains that Trip still didn't need to shoot off his mouth at that time (or in reality, any time).

So, I hae more than one reason to trash him....but then, he IS Trip......

Trip was on APO's team for the first MSDG and quite active as Consul, MoW and so forth. He decided to team up with CGN for this tournament. I felt, personally, he did it just so he has the chance to prove to us (from the first APO team) that he can beat us.

So, it's sort of a little grudge match; but not too personal I would say. Sort of like brother against brother.

To clarify it again, it was one single "complicated" GWT member, who somehow angry at Apo was, by reason of an old story IDG1-PTW (i dont know what his problem was anymore). He and a young member of our team were the only ones who were able to meet PAL on that bad hair day. Becouse of many internally and international DG's we play, the rest of our team oversight his gaffe. As i noticed that so i become active to correct this absolutely "wrong" declaration; but it was too late. By the way this person who sold his own position as our's (GWT) isnt a member of International German Webring Team anymore.
But Striker told allmost all of this in our official statement too.
I hope this unlucky incident didn't damaged our relations too bad.

nope, it didn't. We were more surprised but we had and still don't have bad feelings about.
