No, he's never been tried in combat che, but he stands behind those who have. Alot of servicemen died on Clinton's watch, never avenged. Many of those who planned and executed the attacks on the embasys in africa and on the Cole are dead now or in prison thanks to GWB. Many veterans are grateful to him for that, I'm sure many active are too.

By very strange coincidence, I was looking for something to read on an airplane this weekend and picked up a copy of Thirteen Days. What's striking about it is how many times Robert Kennedy defends the decision to blockade Cuba instead of launching airstrikes and eventually invading, because an attack by the world's most powerful nation on a small country, and especially the civillian deaths it would inflict, would utterly destroy the moral credibility of the US; and the destruction of our moral credibility was too high a price to pay unless there were no other options.

And Cuba actually had WMD.

That was RFK's theory, anyway. Nice of GWB to test it and proved him right.

The baby milk factory was in Iraq, and was bombed by Bush Sr. The pharmie factory was bombed because the CIA said it was producing chemical weapons. They were wrong, and no, we've never paid Sudan to have it repaired. It is still incorrect to say that Clinton let the embassy and Cole bombings go without response.

Let's not forget, it was under Bush's first nine months that nearly all anti-terrorism investiagtions were quashed. The only reason Bush has gone after terrorism is because of 9/11, i.e., he no longer had any choice. Maybe if he'd taken terrorism as seriously before 9/11 as he did after 9/11, there wouldn't have been a 9/11. You are standing on of sheet of ice suspended over Old Faithful if you think you can defend that idiot's anti-terrorism record. Oh, and where's Osama again?
