the point is, I don't think profanity is a crime. There are of course limits to what you can say to people before they can call you for an insult, but this shouldn't even come close to that.

You are right, he could just have stated his opinions in the local university newpaper, but he could never have the same impact as a TV transmiited interview with AC.

Actually, it's AC who sets up the arena and she must take those beatings there including rough words as long as she is allowed to resond - oh, and of course as long as the audience is allowed to ask serious questions.

So you think it was a crime? Since when was profanity or unpopular speech/opinion crime? Should Phelps be arrested for shouting god hates fags and since he is free to do that, and erect statues where dead homosexual is supposedly burning in hell for being gay man, why isn't he getting arrested? Which is worse. Ruining someones character when they are already dead, hurting feelings of loved ones and offending people all over the world, or asking a question from a known provocateur is someone likes taking it up the ass?

Should Arnold get arrested for calling Dems 'girlie men'? Should Farley or what ever his name is get arrested for saying 911 was because of the gay males and all the sins that has happened in the US, and all that jazz? Why not?

Let's face it. A student kid provoked a little and asked from a known provocateur who is known ONLY for her comments similar to that without profanity, asked a question that was a joke, as a statement, IN UNIVERSITY from all the places.. So what?

Since when acting fool was a crime? He didn't call her names, he didn't do anything criminal. Should he have been thrown out of the event, yes. But that's it.

With your logic, anyone who offends someone in public speaking, or uses profanity should be arrested. That's a scary thought.

Tired of ads?

"Im sorry you can try to ratinoalize this all you want."

Sure. You can also emotionalize this all you want. World is however, rational.

"This instance is no different then a protest, he didnt agree with what she said and stated out loud crap that got him thrown in jail..."

So you say that protestors who are saying things that might offend someone should also be thrown into jail, even if they don't pose any kind of a threat or start acting physically?

****, you just don't deserve your freedom of speech.

So what's the difference? He expressed his opinion without physically threatning or attacking anyone. Would pretty much be equal to showing the middle finger. Not a crime. Being a fool is not punishable crime in itself.

This is the latest evil liberal tactic – accusing the righteous of foul buggery.

That was the incident I already refered to. I was responding to Mrs. T's asking why it wasn't asked the other way around: Mrs. Scalia being the top and Tony being the submissive bottom.

He whipped it out? If that's true, no that's not acceptable. Making gestures with no true exposure, not a crime. BAD BEHAVIOUR IS NOT ILLEGAL. And it shouldn't be.

If that was the case, then he certainly should face the consequences of breaking public exposure laws.

Some choice quotes from Coulter for Mrs. T, since she doesn't know what she's talking about :

"We need to execute people like John Walker in order to physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be outright traitors."

"We should invade their [Muslim] countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity."

"Being nice to people is, in fact, one of the incidental tenets of Christianity (as opposed to other religions whose tenets are more along the lines of 'kill everyone who doesn't smell bad and doesn't answer to the name Mohammed')"

"My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times building."

"[Bill Clinton] masturbates in the sink."

"I have to say I'm all for public flogging. One type of criminal that a public humiliation might work particularly well with are the juvenile delinquents, a lot of whom consider it a badge of honor to be sent to juvenile detention. And it might not be such a cool thing in the 'hood to be flogged publicly."

"I think we had enough laws about the turn-of-the-century. We don't need any more." Asked how far back would she go to repeal laws, she replied, "Well, before the New Deal ... [The Emancipation Proclamation] would be a good start."

"People like you caused us to lose the war." (to a disabled Vietnam Veteran)

Not a one of those is less offensive than what that student says. Should she be arrested for saying these? (and she's said a lot more than that)
