I'm not sure that is true. What I've seen and read is that mambas will avoid humans as much as possible, and only strike when they feel cornered. But their venom is so deadly, a single bite and you're pretty much toast.

The green is more dangerous because it is harder to see, and so people sticking their hands in bushes get bit. They aren't as badass as black mambas, however. Everything in the bush is scared of the black mamba, elephants, lions, etc.

But for the purposes of this thread, the black would be worse, since the Colloseum isn't filled with trees.

Besides, at 14 feet, black mambas are twice as big as the greens. Yikes.

It's a cold water ocean with lots of seals and sea lions. Though man is the apex preditor there, the ocean is full of white death.

A sailboarding friend of mine was chased ashore by an orca in the mouth of our river here. He rode it right up on a sand bank and ran for it. They will chase onto land, then flop back to the water.

AFAIK, a polar bear can weight up to 800kg, while a tiger is ~250kg. No contest really.

Besides polar bears are known to hunt seals and even beluga (white whale), even though they would form the rare group in the latter case.
