Played Gary Grigsby's World at War? Anyone? Tired of ads?

Thinking of buying it, would like a few opinions first.

Also, they have it for $39.95 at the mall. How much did you pay?

I'll try to help you if I can.

I bought the game when it first came out and 3 days later I returned it.

I found that there wasn't too much flexibility in gameplay. It seemed that no matter what you did the game was going to play out similiarly every time.

I'm not sure what you're looking for in a grand strategy game in the WWII setting. I tend to like highly detailed and complex games ala HOI/HOI2. GGWAW just didn't seem too terribly complex but it wasn't meant to be. I guess it's just a matter of taste.
