	How You are Viewed on Different Forums Support Apolyton

I thought this was an interesting topic because some people are seen VASTLY different on different forums. Here, on Apolyton, I'm seen as a right winger and ardent capitalist. Some people have called me an extreme right winger. On another general forum (that deals with sports, not politics), people were shocked when I said I was a registered Republican and a bunch thought I was a liberal (US version of the term).

And, of course, Newsmax called me a Communist .

So are you viewed differently on other forums you post on? And how?

John, depending on the forums you post on in SDMB, I'm not sure people have any views about certain posters, politically speaking. Also it depends on how many posts you put out. I'm only on Cafe Society (sometimes I check out the others), not much politics to be gleaned from there .

Well, apart from Poly, I post in Portal of Evil and relatively recently signed up for Something Awful, too. I don't know how I'm viewed in Portal of Evil, though, or if I'm viewed at all - and I definitely have no misconceptions about whether I'm noticed at all at SA.

At Eventis, I'm mostly seen as an anti-fun whiner. My attempt to look like a creep was a complete flop, because Tass is genuinely creepy and he shadows every creep-wanabee

At my circle of friends' forum, I guess I'm seen the same way as they see me IRL. A nice Commie who spends too much time on games, and too much time away.

Btw, if you go there, I post almost exclusively at "Cafe Society", which is discussion about movies, tv shows, books, etc. I find the political discussions there to be ultra partisan and poisionous (far worse than Poly).
