Oh, right, of course they have, how otherwise would have Godzilla been born? In fact, The Entrance Exam book says they developed their own programme and finished it in 1960, in an attempt to stick it ot the USAmericans who refused to share their nuclear secrets with their NATO allies and offered a nuclear umbrella instead.

The Nuclear Godz must have hit the Snooze button on their alarm clocks this morning.
