What team's private forum would you most like to see?


1) Gathering Storm

500-page turnthreads half of which are debates on whether to move worker X north or north-east. Read through it all and you'll probably be winning on Sid with your eyes closed.


2) Neu Demogyptica

Sprachen Sie Deutsch? Nein? Unglück!


3) The Glory of War

More paranoias, conspiracies and evil plans than Oliver Stone would ever dream of. Oh yeah, and Farb too.


4) Roleplay

There's probably more text inside than in all the Encyclopedia Britannica put together. And who knows, maybe many of these stories might make even Chaucer proud.


5) Vox Controli

Enough coup d'etats and revolutions and transfers of power to make any Latin American or African country proud.


6) Lux Invicta

See Trip's empire slowly crumble around him. To raze or not to raze? That is the question!


7) Legoland

Not recommended for children under the age of 3.

Roleplay simply because of what I've heard about their activities above and beyond actually playing the game.

Any team forum at the time of war between that team and GS would be interesting, I think. Just to see whether we were right in assuming stuff, and if the other had a good picture of what we were doing.

Oh, and for those wanting to read ours: I hope you've got patience. That's a lot of text in there... more than one member turned emperor in our forum.

I really hope that despite some of the flaming and spite that went on in this game all teams decide to open their forums to the public in the end. There's just so much valuable stuff in them that it would be a shame for others not to see.

I have no idea if they will be open or not, but I have no personal animosities.

If anyones threads are as long as some of ours, no one will make it through them. I know I am not up to reading another one.

True there are surely some well thought out concepts on all of the teams. I don't know all the players, but I do know many are very skillful.

So I vote bananas.

Well, I gotta figure I'll want to see Lux Invicta's first... I've always loved short stories.

But the most? GoW, no doubt. With MZ, GhengisFarb, and Uno, among others, I figure it's be like watching the Jerry Springer show.

Another issue would be whether each team wants to release their save password. I see no problem with that either.

I'll talk to Vox about opening our forum, but it's pretty dead in there. I personally have no problem with it though. And no problem giving out the password if Trip continues to be lazy and doesn't issue it.

I agree, this should definitely be the way to do it. I don't know how the private forums work here, but this is quite doable in IPB so I don't think vBulletin should be any different.

At the very least we could ask for one member of each team to be given the power to delete posts and ban people from posting on a forum, so that if Markos does not want alter the forums this way, people can still view other forums...

I am planning to start a website once the game is officially over about the PTWDG. Obviously it will be primarily GoW-centered but I want to include many things from the other teams (like all the poetry, stories, etc.) too.

If everyone agrees to it I will give out the password. However, the contents of each team's saves belong to those teams alone - so it's up to them whether or not to open things up from their side.
