pekka is his own worst enemy. a fear of rejection is one thing, but the illusion of confidence is worth alot too. generally when you stop caring about such things is when they happen. i'm not saying stop looking, but certainly be the one to make the first move, and appear confident. alot of girls like that sort of thing. timid and bashful aren't virtues.

Don't tell her it's a date. Tell her that you enjoyed hanging out with her when you guys did and wondered if it would be ok if you started hanging out again. Enjoying ones company and wanting to jump ones bones are two different things. You shouldn't be embaressed to do stuff with her around.

Whatever you do, don't write her a note. That is total chicken sh1t.

If you don't want to go the friend route than just get some balls and ask her. What's the worse that could happen? She says no? If she says no just respond with, "Yeah, it's probably too big any way" and walk away.

Get real Pekka. Only few here knows your real person and none of us knows her !!! There are no general rules that applies to courtesing women - they all has to be won in their special way. Be yourself is probably the best advise since it's that's what you will be with her for several years if you win her.
