Kassiopeia hits the gas and is in joint first spot entering the first turn.
Rah plows on straight ahead and manages to end up on Kassi's exhaust pipe, but out of trouble.
Spaced Cowboy has learned a lesson from the early crash and successfully maneuvres his car out of the way of rah and ends up neck-to-neck with car #3.
RAMSEY and JONNY step hard on the accelerator and pass the field, but in the excitement don't notice each other and CRASH. The crash is denoted by A on the track. Penalties have been dished out, and an oil slick has been created at a very incovenient spot indeed.
Tuberski, Sparrowhawk and Drogue exhibit some close driving as well, and there is a slipstream opportunity in that situation now, too.
Compared to other drivers, Snoopy seems to stay far out of trouble... For now.
Orders for turn 3 are now accepted. There are some slipstream opportunities this turn, but please keep in mind you have to be moving in the same direction as the car in front of you in order to be able to take advantage of this.

Kassiopeia continues to lead this close race into the first right-hander. rah and Drogue use their positions to their advantage and slipstream to higher speeds. JONNY puts the pedal of his turbo to the metal and plows straight through the field and into the side of RAH as the latter enters the second turn. Yet another oil slick is created, putting a nasty twist to the plans of ramsey, and giving Kassiopeia not only the positional lead on the track, but also a speed advantage.
Orders for turn 4 are now accepted.
