Certainly. Basically, you must hit two banked curves in a row, and after that your car gets turned right by one. This only works once, however, so hitting say two more banked curves in the same turn would not do anything.
So, suppose you put in the following orders:
ALMR(2M)(R+1)(4M)
After you turn left, your first M order puts you on the first banked curve. Then, the R order turns you back north and puts you on the second banked curve. Here now, the effect of the banked curves comes in, and your direction of movement changes to NE. Now you move by two more tiles, hitting two more banked curves in a row, but nothing happens as you have already used up teh banked curve bonus this turn, ao you must turn right once more to not go off track. So, your movement this turn would look like this: (showing where each move order takes you)
code:
bb************
MRMMMM*********
M***************
R**
M**
bL*
*A*

Yes. The banked curve does not actually perform an R order for you - that is, it only changes the direction the car is moving in, but doesn't actually move the car forward by one square in the specified direction.
