Ned isn't Fez. Any comparison in the way they were treated is ludicrous. Ned stood up for unpopular viewpoints with reasoned arguements. You might not have agreed with his pov or his reasoning, but that's what he did and sometimes that made him unpopular. Still he had the guts to get jumped on for his pov and keep coming back. Get told he was from the 'Nedoverse' or whatever the personal attack was.

Fez was just Fez. That's why Fez got jumped on.

You know, I don't think I ever once agreed with Ned about anything, and was sometimes vehement in my disagreement. Yet when I disappeared for a while last year* upon joining the State Dept., Ned posted some very nice things in my goodbye-for-now thread. Whatever else can be said, the guy's a gentleman. Ned

I dont think Ned left for lack of attention, its more the kind of attention he got and the kind he didnt get.

Anyway, I like Ned, he's sincere, more open minded than given credit, and hes polite. He took alot of abuse from the left and most of it undeserved, and he was slow to anger. Much more the gentleman than some of his antagonists.

I think that you can say that both felt they were unappreciated... and probably in equal amounts. And if you are talking about attacks... Fez suffered more than all of us combined... true, he may have deserved a few, but people were following him, posting unrelated crap in threads to get him riled up.

When I first joined this place Ned had that cool Vin Diesel avatar (or whatever how u spell his name, that Pitch Black dude). I actually enjoyed his postings even if I don't always agree. He definitely liven up this place like others said.

I even posted one 'honorary' picture for him in that Pictures thread.
