In a forum full of cookie cutter commies, (who are good folks btw) Ned is a rebel who spoke his mind well and without apology. I really like the guy. Alot of people don't realize what an asset he was to the forum. A place where everyone agrees won't last very long. People tend to dislike those that don't agree with them politicly, so Ned wasn't treated with the appreciation he deserved imo. I'm a republican and I really miss and like posters like Oerdin and che, because they're great people, friendly people. I wish we could just set politics aside and like folks for who they are. Ned is a great guy. I used to really like to read his posts.

Well, I know Ned feels unappreciated, and I wanted to give him a chance to see just how many people on this forum care about him, and about his posts, and want him to stay.

If anyone wants to be an ass and troll the thread, that's up to them. Just don't close the thread because of the asses.

It's less work than banning them. But I could let it go until morning at least (what UR or anyone else does is their business ), and simply put any miscreants in the box.

And Ned's an alright guy, he helps keep the forum from being boring.

And where have I trolled Ned in this thread anyway? I simply asked about the rule that I thought Ming had mentioned in the past.


And if you took my slight jibe about "Ned's feelings being hurt" then you must be feeling overly sensitive for someone else (this case, Ben concerned for Ned).

Yep. I like him quite a bit, especially for his persistance and perspicacity. I don't agree with him on some things, but they are irrelevant compared to what we do agree upon.
