Nobody here knows/knew fg that well. Nobody had met with him in person. So the "grief" wasn't really horrendous. I doubt anyone lost sleep over it. It was more "that's sad," and then moving on.

I think it's telling that the people here expressing outrage tend to be the ones who had the least interaction with fg. Such self-righteous indignation over someone they barely knew and certainly didn't care much about.

But someone like Jon Miller, who had a lot more interaction with him, isn't all enraged. Very interesting.

Actually, having never met him in person, and knowing him from the forums only, I felt somewhat bad for this, not only because of his "death" but also becaue of the suddenty of death in general. I remember pondering it for quite some time.
