It is well documented now that after a certain point being severely fatigued versus drunk on the job produces similiar (negative) results. That is one of my major issues with the insane hours they work medical residents - that kind of schedule guarantees medical errors, which means people die. Stupidly preventable medical errors.

I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing - the method my surgeon used involved surgical string - no cutting was involved. The circulation was cut off to the tissue and it dropped off.

These discussions are always funny on Poly. It's amazing that people care so deeply about circumcision. Just mention it in the OP, and you're assured of at least 100 replies -- I posted it and went on vacation knowing full well that I could pick the thread back up when I returned.

Personally, I know that it's not that big of a deal either way (dad uncut, me and brothers cut).

It's a personal observation of mine in America where you see churches everywhere, you will also find adult industry-related businesses (strip bars, adult stores, etc) everywhere as well as liquor stores. It never fail me - they all are linked.

Nasty story. I was just wondering to myself if a doctor found himself in a position in which he's ordered to do an operation he honestly feel that he should not or cannot do due to his mental/physical status at that time, can he refuse without any risk of losing his job?
