Ozzy, I feel for you. Most of us know how much pain you are in now. Ted is right though, eventually you will get over it. Maybe it is next week, maybe it is next year. Don't rush it. Meanwhile, do things you like - and you can do whatever you feel like because you are single now. Say, take a trip to Egypt or pick up a new hobby. Perhaps there's a foreign language you want to learn? Maybe there's a non-profit organisation you wish to do volunteer work for?

Oaay - actually UR has a good idea. Start doing some volunteer work for some cause you do believe in. Join some sort of club - the local home-brewing group (are you 21 yet? I can't remember), the Society for Creative Anachronisms, the young Repubs/Demos, hiking club (some hot chicks in those), etc. That way you can meet more ladies, seriously. And if you are not good at picking them up at bars, that kind of situation gives you an opportunity to talk it up, strike up a relationship, etc. Good luck.

Personally, I recommend volunteering at a high end heroin rehab clinic. Lots of super models to be found there.

I was laughing because I spend pretty much every single day working for a cause I believe in. Its the main thing I do...I guess its all I do now...

Sadly most of the girls are underage.

I don't think Ozzie is looking for something THAT high in maintenance - literally as well as figuratively. Plus, umm, bedding a drug addict (espcially I-V types) is not exactly the safest activity in the world - even with condoms they can still have hepatitus - which you can spread via kissing. Nooo, I think I'd pass on that one, even if I wasn't married.

Cross-post I hadn't seen Ozzie's last post - Ozzie, that would be like me taking up Ballroom dancing when I was out dating - I didn't want to meet women twenty years older than me. If most of the girls are underage - be very nice to them, they may come back as hot 18 years olds (which I had happen once by a girl who was 13 when I had last seen her and I was 19, when she was 18 she came onto me in just a shirt and leapard pattern - it was just very weird but she was incredibly hot) whoa, back on topic - and find yourself a hobby or social group full of girls more you age. You realize this is not exactly rocket science - define the problem, and see if you can find a solution or work around. And you do seem a nice enough guy. Or move to a state where 16 year olds are legal. Option two.

Seriously though, Ozzy, I think we are very much alike in temperment, given the similarities in our situation. Don't worry about finding someone, but if you do run into someone who really knocks your socks off, so much the better. You are a great guy, and deserves someone who love and cares about you, just as much as you do them.
