Rivers are generally several (three or more) ties long. With the discovery of a river to the West, it is entirely possible that we might have a neighbor in that direction.

However, I still feel that South is the best direction at this point.

hey i'm back from vacancy in den haag and this game is beginning to become interesting

i'd say their warrior most likely came from the hill in the south because when you explore you usually use hills and mountains!
now they are probably trying to get to the mountains where we are, or to the river.
so their capital is probably somewhere south.
if go on the hill we can look how we would have explored in their case. this way we will find their capital most fastly.
