I think you will share the information whether you want or you don't want.

If you wish to change sides you should probbaly wait some amount of turns.

I will honor LNs wishes.

I do know the password and I did receive two saves - which I have removed.

I have not received much inside info beyond that - that is actually why I removed myself from the forum. But I do know a tiny amount. I am an honorable person and if I give my word I do keep it. Although I still have access to the LB forum I stopped checking in as of the moment of my withdrawal.

I am not at all a "win at any costs" player. I care more about the process of playing and would not cheat in order to improve my chances.

Thank you all for your feedback.

Sure do. I don't see any problems with GB joining us.

LN should kick everybody who is not a LB out of his forum, and get the admins to change his password seeing as DR and Babylon know what it is.

I can confirm this. Babylon never acted in any inappropriate manner in regards to the LB. Remember that 1889 operated in single player mode until recently. As some new members began to show up, the Babylonian players absented themselves from the forum.

LN should remove all of us from the LB Forum member list.

I would be happy to join Babylon as a member. I considered the DR invitation because of their geographical position in the center of things. Babylon is full of members that I admire a lot.

Let me know if I am welcome. I can continue as an outside lurker without any ill feelings towards anyone.

Yes, Babylon DOES have the LB password, because 1889 sent it to a whole load of people on Babylon and DR in an email. We do not know why he did this.

dont be so sure of your view on things without checking out the other person's facts first.

Tired of ads?

It's purely an issue of intelligence. If there are any secrets in the LB forum, once he joins your team, he could potentially give them away. Babylon already knows everything that was in our forum anyways, so it doesn't matter.

1889 invited several civs into the LB forum and approved all who applied from those teams. As i wrote in the LB forum awhile back, and in the public forum, it is probably best if we all leave.

I for one did not think we had the LB save password. No one on Babylon, to my knowledge, has ever accessed the save, nor will we. Accessing the LB forum was odd enough in itself.

As to Golden Bear joining another team, this too is new territory. It has happened in other games but only after a team has been eliminated. It does start a precedent - but the LB situation has been odd from the start, and GB's intentions are not nefarious. (Gotta love that word.) We are fine with him joining Babylon if others are. And to be honest - I cannot see the issue with him joining DR either.

Got spare money?

I don't think that Golden Bear should be prevented from joining whatever team he feels like joining, provided that team accepted him of course.

In this case DR accept Golden Bear, so he should apply for the membership in their group if he wants. Babylon also accept him (in fact invite him) so if he can choose actually.

Only the Admins can change a teams password, by using the admin password.

Maybe Lord Nuc could send a detailed list to the admins, and they then play your next turn as well as changing the password

To sum up things since my last post:

Beta, you where copied on a mail sent to what looked like almost all of Babylon, with myself and aqua in the CC field. 1889 sent this mail when he thought perhaps nobody would take over, that is my assumption, and he listed his password. I filter all my C3CDG emails, and I didnt really read it properly until recently.

Nobody on DR has looked at the LB save either (although we of course CAN do so as we send them their save.. hence my desire for this to be public and for the pass to be changed ASAP!) I think it is clear that if DR was upto no good, I wouldnt be revealing this info..

There are two people on the LB team list who've made 0 and 3 posts. My guess would be that one is a Horde or AM member, and that the other is DR.

Really.

Does that matter? I remember asking about IndianaJoe, who had an oddly low number of posts but many group memberships. I was told that users might be listed as group members but do not have private forum access until accepted.

But DR and the Horde had access to the LB forum? Really?

re: the LB password.
If it was sent to me I never looked at it.

re:dont be so sure of your view on things without checking out the other person's facts first.

I am pretty clear about my facts. Saves were never "exchanged". Babylon never sent a save to LB, nor did we open one if it was sent to us. Beta made his opinion on that matter clear. It wasn't "cricket".

I didnt suggest any "save swapping" whatever that may be, you brought that into the conversation Your email is on the mail 1889 sent out (he sent the mail to: Aqualung71; MoonBars; Shogun Gunner; Kloreep; Gamecube64; Beta; skrobism)

I did not say that the Horde had access to the forum, I am saying that there are two funny accounts that are members, and I know one is DR, so the other is either AM or Horde.

Moonbars, you are deluded.

Just because there is an account that is signed up to the LB forum does not mean that it was created by BOH or AM, and I am offended that you think we would stoop to that level, trying to spy on a private forum.

It was probably created by some random poster.

Krill - I don't think Moonbars was accusing you of anything. When 1889 issued the invite to the open forum, it was open to all those who wanted to be part of what he was proposing as an alliance. That's all. Not a matter of spying at all; just that there still may be members of other teams who are not that active who joined the LB forum and just never bothered to leave. I suspect they are probably early LB members who joined with good intent, but never showed up. I think every team probably has one or two of those.
