Euphorica sent us 150 gold accepted.

I cannot see where the alleged BOH troops are. (See BOH correspondance thread.) They must be holding station a ways away, unless they're in AM territory.

I don't believe we have anything to strike back with. We have a temporary reprieve, but we simply don't have the offensive horseman (or SoD) capability. If we stand our ground, it will be literally so in a defensive stance.

So. What do we do? Surrender to AM and be vassalized, to wait out our chance to stab them in the back? Do we try to ally with BOH, likely a different sort of vassalization? Or do we do what damage we can now, cards down on the table? Please post your opinions, & arguments for them.

Reverge is nice!!! Attack is better. Swing peace under all of them. Gather our forces, tell Ankh-Morpork to go fly, then attack AM, we have a strong force.

I think the blaze of glory approach is the best. Attack A-M with everything we have, and damn the consequences. Show them our true colors, and give them something to talk about, for at least a couple of turns.

I guess we could vassalize, preferably to A-M, so we can stab them in the back later, for their unjustified attack on us.

What exactly is on the table from BOH? All I can find is a chat between Paddy and SG. Not much there except the offer to talk. Did I miss something?

I say we talk with BOH, but give little. Maybe info about AM's plans. But do what can be done to stay in the game and get BOH to go after AM.

I don't like becoming AM's b-1-tch. But, we can give them gaurantees and promises for a few turns of peace while they think we are vassalizing. Meanwhile - hopefully - BOH slaps them around. I do not want to move to the Western Desert on the coast.

Where do we stand with LB? Would deals between Babylon and BOH or AM hurt this friendship?
Where do we stand with Eu?
What is up with DR ignoring us?

I think we need a few turns of peace before we can truely hurt anyone. But if we must go down now, I say we fight, disband cities, and gift to our friends.

We should be exploring all possibilities.

If we fight AM, now, we lose. very quickly.

If we work out a "plan of Vasselation" with AM and get BoH to attack them, good.

If we take our time to rebuild, then we will have a later advantage.

But we need to tread very carefully. B oH may just be saying these things, to see if we will grasp at straws (which, truthfilly, we are) and then take us out right afterwards.

Remember, BoH's main goal is to keep us all disorganize and disunited. That's their only hope to winning.

I can play the turn tomorrow.

I don't think there's much to do except lick our wounds, continue bringing the last of our straggling forces home, and continue producing military units.

Is anyone else going to step up to play turns? If not, I'm thinking we should just hit the retire button and leave AM cityless.

E_T, I think you said that tears up the terrain improvements as well? We'd have to consider whether retiring would be ethical if it has that effect...

Well, I was able to play the turn and send it off, before DR played (and they still haven't played as of yet, so they can't say that they didn't get it in time.

I'll make a full report, sometime, in next 24 hours (or so.... things to do).
