Aye its pretty hardcore banning your kids from visiting poly. I've been visiting here since 15 and haven't once felt like reporting anybody for their sexual interest.

I find it hard to believe that poly is harmful for any age really.

I find it hard to believe there is an age category for which 'Poly is not harmful.

@Frankychan: Hitting kids is abuse, period.

I still think contacting the parents ought be the default line of action. Brothers shouldn't parent their younger siblings unless there's no-one else to do it.

The Internet is a scary, scary place. Especially 'poly. I mean there are strangers here. Strangers, almost without exception, are all child molesters. We must be eternally vigilant. A seemingly normal 40 year old poster on poly one day may turn into a rabid sex offender if you put them anywhere near an innocent teenager.

I say we just require everyone to be 18 or older to visit the Internet. Its just way too dangerous.

Or at least over 18 for 'poly.

No I am not scared of u guys. They have no interest in any of civ games. I only have one teenager and if he asked to go there it will be unblocked. The other two kids are only 10 and 8 they wouldnt even know how to navigate the forum. its not blocked cause of you guys its blocked because of the parental controls i have set up on the pc. which blocks all adult sites that i have not authorized. I didnt think my kids would want to visit polly so it was included.

Today I found out that one girl who graduated from my high school last June disappeared 6 days ago. Apparently she went off with a 35-40 years old stranger she met over the 'Net. People are saying that she's dead and blah blah so I did some research and only thing I could find was an article that she disappeared.
